A victim of unspeakable abuse, Velvet's recovery has been inspiring for everyone who hears her story, and now she's ready to start a brand-new life with you! This perfect potato loves to romp and play and when she's all tuckered out, adores cuddling and affection. She charms everyone she meets and is simply the best! Velvet has been around children and dogs and has been great, but because she has lost some of her peripheral vision, would prefer living with older kids who understand she can't see 100%. The nose knows, you know? Hi, I'm Addy and if you're reading this, you're obviously looking for a new best friend - and hey, what a coincidence, I am too! I know how to give the best? hugs, but you'd better be sitting down when all 80+ pounds of me moves in for the snuggle! I'll also shake my head and cover you in my special Addy slobber, but I think that just adds to my charm. If you know hounds, then you know that I'm always sniffing out the best spots and can tell you when a deer or a rabbit have been in the yard. So if you're already in love with my long ears and wrinkly face, then you absolutely must come for a visit and meet charming ME!
