National Nurses Week discounts and freebies frontline medical workers can snag

 

Nurses have given so much during the age of the coronavirus, working long shifts and saving lives. So a little something free (or discounted) is the least they deserve. National Nurses Week (May 6-12) is meant to honor and observe those who, now more than ever, risk their own health to help others. Here are some great National Nurses Week deals for the frontline medical workers who have given their all.

Clothing

Adidas

First responders, nurses, medical professionals and military members can receive a 40% discount for Adidas products. To get the coupon, coronavirus first responders must verify their employment with ID.me.

Crocs

Crocs is giving 10,000 free pairs of shoes each day to health care workers. To request a pair, Crocs holds a virtual waiting room at 12 p.m. ET every day. Once it starts, all participants receive a random spot in line as long as they enter before the 12 p.m. start time.

Nike

Eligible U.S. coronavirus first responders and medical workers can receive 20% off on Nike products through Nike’s online storefront. To get the discount, visit nike.com/help/a/first-responder-discount

The North Face

"Outdoorsy" clothing company The North Face is offering health care workers 50% off non-clearance items until the end of 2020. Along with that, health care workers will be offered a 10% discount at all outlet stores. To grab this discount, workers need to verify their work status.

Food

Checkers

Medical workers and coronavirus first responders can grab a free small combo at any of Checkers' 250 locations.

Chipotle

As part of Chipotle's 4HEROES burrito donation program, medical facilities can request free burritos beginning May 6 at 9:00 a.m. PT on its website.

Dunkin' Donuts

Dunkin' Donuts will give a free medium hot or iced coffee and a donut to nurses and health care workers starting May 6 while supplies last.

Krispy Kreme

Krispy Kreme is offering medical workers free boxes of dozens of glazed doughnuts. Every Monday through May 12, medical professionals can show their employer badge and get free doughnuts through the Krispy Kreme drive-thru.

McDonald's

McDonald's across the country are offering free Thank You meals to health care workers, police officers, firefighters and paramedics. The offer is available all day through May 5.

Outback

Outback is offering a 10% discount to medical staff, first responders and military members. Delivery is also free for a limited time. A valid medical, state or federal service ID is required to receive the discount.

Snickers

Essential workers can use coupons to receive free Snickers bars, which can be validated at Walmart. Customers can visit sendasnickersfromhome.com to send a coupon to a medical worker they know.

Starbucks

Starbucks has extended its free coffee program to COVID-19 first responders through the end of May. First responders can receive a tall hot or iced brewed coffee.

Gas stations

BP

Both BP and Amoco stations are offering a single-use, 50-cent per-gallon discount for first responders, doctors, nurses and hospital workers. To get the savings, those qualifying must verify their ID and employment through ID.me. Discount codes are available for request now and expire May 31.

Circle K

First responders, health care workers and Circle K employees can snag free coffee and tea. Those who wish to take advantage of the offer must show a valid ID.

Sheetz

Hospital workers and first responders can grab a free coffee from Sheetz’s through June 1, 2020, at locations across the country.
