Governor Larry Hogan announced on Monday any and all Marylanders 16 and older can get a COVID vaccine at any of the state's mass vaccination sites starting Tuesday, April 6.
"We're now able to move more quickly because we have been getting that increased supply and we've been building the infrastructure. We saw this coming, which is why we started the pre-registration last week to get ready," Hogan said.
Locally, the mass vaccination sites at Ripken Stadium (Harford County) will open on the week of April 19.
On Friday, the state launched a no-appointment, walk-up line at the mass vaccination site in Salisbury. Starting Tuesday, the state will launch a no-appointment line at the Hagerstown site, and next week at the M&T Bank Stadium site in Baltimore City.
Officials said pre-registration is the best, easiest and fastest way to reserve an appointment and to ensure that a vaccine is available. Pre-register here online or call 855-MD-GOVAX.
