During this evening's press conference, Governor Larry Hogan has expressed his concern with the current COVID-19 surge. Due to the surge, he is imposing new orders statewide to slow the spread.
Effective Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 5pm, indoor capacity for restaurants and bars is being reduced from 75% to 50%. All customers must be seated in order to be served and all tables must be disinfected between customers.
Also, telework is mandatory for all state employees effective immediately and the Goveror is uring businesses to provide their employees with the opportunity to telework.
The MD Department of Health is urging Marylanders to get tested for COVID-19 prior to visiting loved ones at nursing homes in the state.
