Winter Wonderland Bel Air

The town of Bel Air will be glittering for the holidays in the coming weeks.

"Winter Wonderland" will kick off Saturday, Nov. 27. For the six weeks between Thanksgiving and the New Year, thousands of lights will be turned on downtown each night from 5 to 11 p.m.

 

Some of the downtown buildings that will be lit up include the Harford County Circuit Courthouse on Courtland Street, Harford County Sheriff's Office headquarters on South Main Street and the Bel Air Armory on North Main Street.

 

The Winter Wonderland kickoff is at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27. Horse-drawn carriage rides will be from 5 to 9 p.m. People should sign up in front of the Bel Air Armory; signups begin at 4:30 p.m. Carriage rides are free. Visit with Santa will be from 5 to 8 p.m. outside the Harford County Circuit Courthouse.

 

Winter Wonderland will continue through January 2! 

 

Chesapeake City Holidays

The Holiday season gets underway in Chesapeake City with the offical tree lightning on Saturday, November 27 by the Chesapeake City Lions Club. The festivities start at 5:30pm in Pell Gardens.

 

Poplar Hall presents a Christmas Parade of Horses through Historic Chesapeake City on Saturday, December 4 at 9am. The parade will be followed by a Christmas Market, 10am-5pm. 

 

On New Year's Day, Chesapeake City welcomes the return of their New Year's Day 5K Run. The event is FREE and the fist 150 participants will get a commemorative medal. Register here
