On Friday, June 17th, the Northern Chesapeake Symphony Orchestra (NCSO), directed by Dr.Nelson Fritts, will present a “Concert Under the Stars” at Dove Valley Winery.The orchestra began in 2019 and has performed throughout the community during the pastthree years. The ensemble works in partnership with the Cecil County Arts Council and itsBoard of Directors represent a number of constituencies in Cecil, Harford and Kent Counties.The full ensemble has 29 players who come from the surrounding Maryland and Delawareareas. The members’ ages range from 14 to 76.The NCSO String Quartet, String Orchestra, and Full Orchestra will perform during the program.Selections will include works by Beethoven, Cohen, Gliere, Grieg, Holst, Mozart, Rameau, andStrauss.Dove Valley is located at 645 Harrington Road, Rising Sun, MD.
