The 9th Annual Amanda Hichkad CCA Celebration Walk, which raises funds for Cancer LifeNet, takes place Saturday, May 14, at 8 a.m. at The John Carroll School, 703 East Churchville Road in Bel Air. The Presenting Sponsor is Klein's ShopRite of Maryland. This year's goal is to cross the $1 million milestone since the walk’s inception in 2014. TheHdG Friends of HCPL will hold a used book sale from May 6 - May 14. at the HdG Public Library 120 N. Union Ave. in HdG. 10 am - 4:30 (library hours.) Books, dvd's, cd's, puzzles, and games will be for sale. Proceeds help fund HdG Public Library Programs. Our Book Collection for the sale will be on April 29 and 30 from 10-2 pm.
