"Westmoreland County Bureau of Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a "Nature Day with Master Naturalists" at Twin Lakes County Park, Greensburg, on Saturday, May 21, from 9:30 AM -1:30 PM. Meet at the Brian T. Rushnock Amphitheater to learn about such topics as: Wildlife-Friendly Yards; Leave No Trace; Phenology and Community Science; Bug Camp; Seed Saving Principles; Ornamental Invasives; Wild Flower ID; Tree Seed Development, Identification, and Dispersal; Birds in Your Backyard. There will be both a Wildflower ID Stroll and a Bug Safari at 12:15 and 12:45. This free event is for all ages. Registration would be appreciated but is not required. The Havre de Grace Ambulance Corps will host Food Truck Sundays beginning Sunday, May 16 and will run every Sunday (except July 4) until September 26 from 4pm - 8pm in our Pavilion located to the rear of our Station. There will be 5-7 different food trucks every week as well as Live music, venders and a local brewery. Fun for the entire family.
